The Rose Hotel and Thorn Restaurant & Lounge in Rosemont Offer Elegant Mother’s Day Package and High Tea Experience to Make Sure Moms Feel Pampered (Rosemont, IL.)

Whether balancing e-learning, working from home, being an essential worker, or everything in between, our Moms deserve a day off from this past year to enjoy a picture-worthy spread at High Tea as well as a shopping-filled staycation to complete their special weekend.
We can all agree, Moms have had a year, and deserve to be pampered. Luckily, The Rose Hotel Chicago O’Hare, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton, located at 5200 Pearl St. in Rosemont, along with their contemporary first floor bar and restaurant, Thorn Restaurant & Lounge, are offering an exclusive Mother’s Day High Tea on Sunday, May 9. The Mother’s Day High Tea, $60 a person or $30 for ages 12 & under, will have two seating’s available at 11 a.m., and 2 p.m. which includes complimentary parking, live music from Dina Bach, and a curated menu to set the scene of an elevated high tea. Those looking for a complete experience can also opt for the Mother’s Day Package at The Rose Hotel, available all weekend long, which includes tickets for two to High Tea, as well shopping coupons to the Fashion Outlets of Chicago, a one-night stay, continental breakfast for two, and much more.
The special High Tea event at Thorn, perfectly curated by Executive Chef Nicholas Malloy, begins with either Blooming Flower Green Tea that actually blossoms into a flower as it flavors your tea, or your choice of additional Teavana Tea. Moms will then enjoy a selection of Tea Sandwiches including an Egg Salad, with aged Cheddar and whole grain bread: Roasted Turkey, with Gruyere cheese, tomato, honey cup mustard, and a silver dollar roll; a Bistro Leak & Parmesan Croissant; and Crab Cake, topped with a citrus aioli on brioche. Sweet, Dessert Bites include Macarons; Apple Turnover; an Early Grey Strawberry Tart; and a Petite Opera Chocolate Sponge Cake. MOMosas and Signature Rosemosas are also available for purchase to complete the experience for $7 and $12, respectively.
“As a mom myself, I know how hard this past year has been for those juggling work schedules with family schedules,” said Micaela Haas, General Manager of The Rose Hotel Chicago O’Hare, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. “We wanted to give back to all moms by creating an elevated High Tea event and Mother’s Day Package that allows moms to escape to a place where they can finally take a much-needed breath and truly enjoy their special day.”
