National Video Game Day is on July 8th! The data researchers at NationalToday.com [http://www.nationaltoday.com] — America’s favorite online destination to commemorate quirky and fun holidays—surveyed 1,000 Americans to get the lowdown on their gaming habits and opinions.
Here's what the survey revealed:

Whether they need to relax after a long day or they're dealing with social anxieties. 28% surveyed said they play to win money and other prizes.

While over a third of Americans admitted to playing games on their phone while using the bathroom, 39% play before going to sleep, 21% during work breaks, and another 20% while eating.

Special Family Screening of Iron Giant in Millennium Park
Monday, July 9 at 10:30 a.m.
Monday, July 9, 11 a.m.: Iron Giant – opening program at 10:30 a.m. Programmed in collaboration with the Facet’s Chicago International Children's Film Festival (1999, rated PG for fantasy action violence, language, some thematic material and smoking, 90 minutes) Nine-year-old Hogarth Hughes (Eli Marienthal) makes friends with an innocent alien giant robot and protects him from a paranoid U.S. Government agent (Christopher McDonald) by keeping him at a junkyard owned by Dean McCoppin (Harry Connick Jr.). The family film is also being show in conjunction with the Millennium Park Family Fun Festival and the Year of Creative Youth.
Families are also invited to join the fun all summer long with activities, including music and arts and crafts for kids of all ages at the Family Fun Festival, Mondays through Fridays, through August 10, 10 a.m.–2p.m. The series is presented by the Millennium Park Foundation with additional support by the Lloyd A. Fry Foundation, under the tent on the Chase Promenade North. Admission is FREE.
The Millennium Park Film Series is produced by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special events and sponsored by the Chicago Transit Authority. Additionally, the series is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council. Refreshments are available for purchase from Goose Island Beer Company, Riboli Family Wines and Pepsi at various locations throughout the park. Intl. Kissing Day (7/6): Bad Breath Ranks Worst Attribute of A Bad Kisser
International Kissing Day is on July 6. Below are results from a recent survey from NationalToday.com [www.nationaltoday.com]. They asked 1,000 Americans to spill all their smooching secrets.

>> 36% OF AMERICANS GOT THEIR FIRST KISS IN MIDDLE SCHOOL
22% said they started kissing in elementary school and 26% started in high school. 8% didn't have their first kiss until they were college-aged.
>> 14% OF AMERICANS LET THEIR PETS KISS THEM ON THE MOUTH
Yet 11% say they're grossed out when their parents kiss in front of them. Other kissing quirks include: kissing people as a dare (31%), checking their breath before they kiss someone (42%), and putting on chapstick to get ready (12%).
>> 2% OF AMERICANS HAVE NEVER BEEN KISSED
The majority of them (62%) are men who are between the ages of 18-24 (54%) or 25-34 (31%).

WHAT: Macy’s is proud to partner with Bunker Labs, an organization dedicated to helping veterans and military families start, sustain and grow their own businesses, to invite local veterans in for a night of style. My Stylists, Macy’s free personal shoppers, will highlight the importance of building your personal brand through fashion, while showcasing looks provided to two local veterans and offering advice about how to dress when interviewing or building a business. After the presentation, guests can enjoy refreshments, music, complimentary professional headshots and more. This event is part of Bunker Brews, Bunker Labs’ monthly meet-up or happy hour where the Bunker Labs community – veterans, military spouses, and civilians alike –can network with subject matter experts, investors, thought leaders, and more, creating a robust environment for growth and development.
