WGN-TV, WCIU-TV, WGN Radio, Dr. Neal Barnard, Rachel Barton Pine and a Feature Film!

OH! I had so much fun cooking my plant-based Asparagus, Purple Potato and Zucchini Casserole on WGN-TV.  Thanks Dina Bair and Kristina Miller for making it all happen on Chicago's Very Own!  Check the segment here!
The man, the myth, the legend: Dr. Neal Barnard.  A powerful doctor, speaker and advocate for our health, Dr. Barnard has been instrumental in highlighting the need for nutrition in preventive medicine and lobbying our govenrment on same...not to mention that he has lobbied successfully to curtail the use of animals in medical testing and helped acheive the ban on animal testing in cosmetics in CA.  Listen in to this interview because we talk about all of it on EP 23 of Awesome Vegans. I love him!
Sure was great to be back on WCIU talking about the sexiness of silver.  There's no better beauty tool than self-confidence as anyone bold enough to go silver knows!  Click here to watch my WCIU segment.

Plus, I am over the moon! I am being featured in a new film, Gray is The New Blonde, by Victoria Marie.  I am excited to say that I am both a featured Sexy Silver Sister - yeah, baby! - and I am also an Associate Producer!

The movie will have its red carpet premiere in LA in late March. If you can't make the premiere, but want to see the film, you can pre-order your Collector's Edition DVD here! Don't miss out!
Traveling the world. Performing live. Being a full-time mom. No one could need an energy-packed, protein-filled diet more that internationally renowned, award-winning violinist, Rachel Barton Pine. No wonder she's vegan. Tune in to watch her play three performances: one classical, one Blues and one duet with her daughter, who is also vegan! You won't want to miss this podcast!

To find the full list of speaking, TV and radio engagements, plus  TV cooking demonstrations, check here. And remember to check out for new pods all the time!
There's no place like home. There's no place like home. There's no place like home...which is why it always feels great to be back at WGN Radio. And boy was I ever!  I co-hosted Nightside with Mark Carman, talked about the sizzling growth of the plant-based burger market on the Wintrust Business Lunch with Steve Bertrand, chatted vegan lifestyles with Patti Vasquez on Late Night and dished on sustainability with Amy Guth on the Saturday Night Special. Girlfriend's been busy!

Now I am ready to join Anna Davlantes and Roe Conn for the Carnable Wagon on March 1.  Tune in! I'll have all the eats and drinks because that's just how I roll.

The Silver-Chic Chef is at it again. I have been cooking up a plant-based storm to make sure that we all get through the Winter feeling full and happy.  Chili? Yep. Meatloaf?  Yep. Pasta Bolognese? Yep. Plant-based? YEP!!!  Click here for all of it and more.
Oh, I so got your number!
I decided to throw a little party....a Beyond Meat Party that is.  It was a plant-based take-over lunch party as I brought Beyond Meat Burgers, Miyoko's Cheese platters, Dandies Marchmallows and Honest Tea to WGN Radio for the whole station to enjoy! Yep, I fed 80 people!

And check what WGN's Wendy (of Bill and Wendy, of course!) had to say about her first Beyond Meat burger!! Oh, the fun of it...

Want to take your company plant-based with a free lunch for all?  Reach out to me directly if you think a plant-based take-over lunch would be a fun event for your organization!
