Midwest Independent Film Festival >> Reserve tickets today for AN ACCEPTABLE LOSS on Feb 5th! (Chicago, IL.)

Tuesday, Feb. 5!
Special screening of AN ACCEPTABLE LOSS
Reserve your tickets today for Tuesday, February 5th when we celebrate the launch of the 2019 season with a special screening of AN ACCEPTABLE LOSS, directed by Joe Chappelle, and starring Tike Sumpter, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Ben Tavassoli.

In the film, Libby Lamm (Tika Sumpter) is a former White House security aid to US Vice President-turned-President, Rachel Burke (Jamie Lee Curtis). After leaving politics for academia, Lamm can't escape her earlier actions, nor their impact.

The evening will open at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception on the top floor of the Landmark Century Cinema space (2828 N. Clark St.), followed by our signature Producers Panel at 6:30. A Q&A session with the film's director will immediately follow the 7:30 p.m. film screening. The afterparty will follow, at Avenue Tavern, 2916 N. Broadway Ave.
