Celebrate the first night of Hanukkah at Prairie Grass Cafe this Sunday
Northbrook’s Prairie Grass Cafe (601 Skokie Blvd.; Northbrook, IL; 847-205-4433) is offering a special Hanukkah dinner, celebrating the first night of the Festival of Lights, this Sunday, 5-9 p.m., December 2.

Chefs Sarah Stegner and George Bumbaris will feature their delicious slow roasted BBQ brisket from Cedar River Farms on top of a roasted cauliflower puree ($28). They also are offering a complimentary jelly-filled Firecakes donut to each table. The regular menu also is available.

You don’t have to celebrate Hanukkah to enjoy this menu. Using fresh, carefully sourced ingredients, Prairie Grass Cafe’s Hanukkah specials are a treat for everyone. Bring the whole family to celebrate this holiday season.

Gene Baur is such a beautiful human being.  He is also an original!  I mean, he funded The Farm Sanctuary by selling veggie dogs out of his VW van at Grateful Dead concerts! How awesome is that?!
