Expo Chicago! It's Here! Runs until September 30,2018 at Navy Pier (Chicago, IL.)

It’s finally here. The event art aficionados practically camp out for in anticipation of the opening!
I was able to get a sneak peak during the VIP preview and sadly couldn’t spend more than an hour due to an eye infection. Such an amazing array of talent from the artists on display thru their galleries.
I love the installation pieces as that is something you don’t see very often. If you haven’t been to Navy  Pier in a while, they’ve done some amazing extensive renovations.

Here are a few images I grabbed along the way today.

Chicagoans Can Get FREE Burgers Again Thanks to The Economist's Activation Promoting Sustainable Meat Production (Chicago, IL.)

Chicagoans can again get their hands on FREE meat-free beyond burgers thanks to The Economist, and its Feeding the Future activation. Locals can spot the Economist-branded food truck at a number of locations and grab a free meal, all in the name of sustainable meat production!

THE ECONOMIST BRINGS BACK ITS FAST FORWARD FOOD CAMPAIGN TO CHICAGO
Consumer engagement program brings to life The Economist’s mind-stretching journalism and highlights the benefits of sustainable meat production

WHO:          The Economist, a leading source of analysis on international business and world affairs, will take to the streets again with its “Fast Forward Food” initiative in Chicago, IL, as part of its Feeding The Future campaign featuring the Beyond Burger. The campaign is based on a report entitled “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Beef” from 1843, sister publication to The Economist, and aims to highlight the alternative protein market, as well as the impact of consuming meat regularly.

WHAT:         An Economist-branded food truck will take to the streets of Chicago in September and October offering samples of the meat-free Beyond Burger. While they look and taste like beef, this alternative offers 20 grams of plant-based protein and unlike many plant-based burgers, the Beyond Burger contains no soy, gluten or GMO ingredients. Plant-based burgers are the perfect option for meat lovers who want to lessen their carbon footprint, and reduce their intake of red meat at the same time. Consumers who participate in the program will have an opportunity to subscribe to The Economist at an introductory rate of 12 weeks for $12 and as a special gift can opt to have the publication plant a tree on their behalf.

DETAILS:    The food truck will be at various locations, including:
09/28/18 - Pioneer Court
09/29/18 - Randolph Street Market
09/30/18 - Randolph Street Market
