The concert will be Arthur’s first Chicago area appearance before joining OneRepublic and Fitz and The Tantrums for the 2017 Honda Civic Tour beginning July 7, 2017.

Norwegian singer and songwriter Sigrid, best known for her international hit “Don’t Kill My Vibe,” is also scheduled to perform. “Don’t Kill My Vibe” has charted in Norway, Scotland, Australia and the United Kingdom and is currently featured on a commercial for Apple Music.

“Eric & Kathy’s Concerts for the Kids” serve as the initial fundraising events for Eric & Kathy’s Kids for Lurie Children’s Hospital, slated to air the week of August 14 on The Mix, sponsored by MB Financial Bank. Admission to the June 21 concert is free to the public. MB Financial Bank representatives will be onsite at MB Financial Park collecting donations for Lurie Children’s Hospital. Guests can enjoy food and beverage tents on the park’s great lawn with 10 percent of tent sales donated to the Eric & Kathy’s Kids for Lurie Children’s Hospital.

After winning the ninth season of the popular reality television vocal competition, “The X Factor,” Arthur’s debut single “Impossible” became the show’s most successful song of all time, achieving more than three million downloads. Arthur’s second album, “Back from the Edge,” was released in October 2016 and features his Platinum-certified hit single “Say You Won’t Let Go,” which has been streamed more than one billion times around the globe. Following the success of “Say You Won’t Let Go,” Arthur recently premiered the music video for his new single, “Can I Be Him” in May 2017.
