CHARLES TILLMAN HOSTS FIFTH CELEBRITY PRO BOWLER TOURNAMENT ATKINGS BOWL IN ROSEMONT THURSDAY, JUNE 1
Event To Raise Funds for Charles Tillman Cornerstone Foundation, Supporting Critically and Chronically Ill Children
Kings Bowl, an expansive bowling, dining and cocktail destination
with locations in both Rosemont and Lincoln Park, is thrilled to partner
with former NFL Cornerback Charles Tillman to host the fifth Charles Tillman Celebrity Pro BOWLer Tournament
Thursday, June 1 at 6 p.m. Tillman will recruit his friends, teammates
and colleagues to visit Kings Bowl in Rosemont for an evening of great
bowling, delicious food and festivities supporting the Charles Tillman
In addition to Tillman, participating bowlers for the 2017 event
include Anthony Adams, Jared Allen, Kyle Fuller and Jason McKie.
Additional celebrity bowlers will be announced at a later date.
First held in 2012 at Kings’ Rosemont location, the Charles Tillman
Celebrity Pro BOWLer Tournament has attracted hundreds and raised more
than $480,000 in support of the Charles Tillman Cornerstone Foundation,
which provides opportunities and resources to underprivileged children
and their families. One of the foundation’s newest programs is the
“Tiana Fund,” which assists economically at-risk individuals or families
impacted by the costs of treatment for a chronically or critically ill
child. The program helps improve the quality of life for its recipients,
strengthening their sense of stability and security. In 2016, the
program provided micro grants totaling more than $200,000 to more than
180 families in need.
“The ProBOWLer Tournament has become a special tradition for the
Cornerstone Foundation and Kings has been a great partner since the
beginning,” said Tillman. “In its fifth year, this event helps ensure
that the foundation can continue to make a positive impact on our
community by supporting some very special children and their families.”
Lane sponsorships for the Charles Tillman Pro BOWLer Tournament are
available starting at $1,500. General admission tickets are also
available for $30 and include entry to the event and samplings of Kings’
renowned made-from-scratch menu.
The Charles Tillman Celebrity Pro BOWLer Tournament is for ages 21 and
over. For more information or to sponsor a lane or purchase a ticket,
