DCASE Opportunities for Artists and Creative Professionals(Chicago,IL)
Application Deadline is January 13, 2017 - Absolutely no extensions
Artists Program (IAP) aims to assist Chicago's professional artists in
creating work that elevates their careers and brings value to the City
of Chicago. This year's updated IAP guidelines are now available. All
applicants are required to attend an Application Assistance Workshop in
order to apply. For eligibility requirements, grant calendar and to RSVP

Year of Public Art Opportunities Meeting
November 29, 3:30-5pm at the Chicago Cultural Center, 5th Fl Millennium Park Room
Mayor Rahm Emanuel and
the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE)
have designated 2017 the Year of Public Art with a new 50x50
Neighborhood Arts Project, the creation of a Public Art Youth Corps, a
new Public Art Festival, exhibitions, performances, tours and more -
representing a $1.5 million investment in artist-led community projects.
This meeting will review a number of opportunities that are available
to artists and arts organizations to participate.
5th Annual Night Out in the Parks
Deadline December 16
artists and organizations are invited to submit proposals to
participate in the 2017 season of Night Out In the Parks. Supported by
the City of Chicago and the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special
Events, the Chicago Park District's Night Out in the Parks annually
brings more than 1,000 community-building activities and
neighborhood-based cultural events to parks across Chicago. Eligible arts organizations and artists can apply at www.nightoutintheparks.com. Non-profit status is not a requirement for interested participants.
