Ironside Bar & Galley – a neighborhood sports bar in River North complete with seafood-focused Chicago-style bar food and craft beverages – will kick off lunch service with free Lobster Tater Tots on Thursday, October 13, and will launch brunch service on Saturday, October 15 at 546 North Wells Street in the former Cyrano's Farm Kitchen space.
Ironside will give away full orders of executive chef Jim August’s Lobster Tater Tots (Crunchy Maine Lobster Potato Puffs with Lobster-Sriracha Dipping Sauce ... regularly priced at $15) to the first 10 paying customer tables during lunch service on each of the following days: Thursday, October 13 and Friday, October 15.
Ironside will be open for lunch from 11am Monday thru Friday, and its lunch menu is the same as its dinner menu. Ironside will remain open between lunch and dinner for continuous service food and beverage service.
Ironside’s brunch will be served from 11am until 2pm Saturdays & Sundays. The regular Ironside lunch/dinner menu will also be available during brunch hours as well. Chef August’s brunch menu is listed below. Highlights include a trio of Eggs Benedicts; Hangover Hash; and Cap'n Crunch French Toast topped with caramelized bananas and rum-butter sauce.
Brunch cocktails include the White Russian riff “Careful, Man, There's A Beverage Here!” (New Amsterdam Vodka, Rumchata, High Brew Mexican Vanilla Cold Brew Coffee, cream, cinnamon) for $8; a “Bloody Mary” for $8 that can be upgraded with a skewer of Lobster Tater Tots for an additional $3; and a “Mimosa Bucket” where guests can choose a Mionetto Prosecco bottle or Mionetto Sparkling Gran Rose bottle with a carafe of orange juice for only $30.
