IN CELEBRATION OF FILM’S 30TH ANNIVERSARY
WHAT: Chicago’s iconic Willis Tower will be hosting their first-ever Ferris Bueller look-alike contest as a part of the summer-long celebration of the beloved film Ferris Bueller’s Day Off taking place throughout the Tower and Skydeck.
Tomorrow, Friday, June 24th, all guests will be encouraged to channel their favorite character of the film, dressing up as Ferris, Cameron, Sloane or another beloved cast member to win a special Ferris Bueller prize package. For a chance to win, contestants will take a photo in costume on the Skydeck and use the hashtag #FerrisatSkydeck.
Throughout the summer, guests and Ferris fans alike will be able to take part in additional celebratory activities located within the Chicago landmark. In addition to Ferris Look-alike Contest, the Tower is hosting ‘Ferris Stood Here’ photo opps and an upcoming ‘Take a Ride with Ferris’ activation with Ferrari, which will launch in the end of July. Created in conjunction with Paramount Pictures, the events will commemorate the film, its multi-decade connection to the Windy Cindy, and some of its most memorable scenes shot at the Tower 30 years ago.
