Izakaya Mita Celebrates 1st Anniversary and Holidays (Chicago,IL)
For the last year, Izakaya Mita has been eating and drinking with the good people of Chicago. And on Saturday, December 12th, they're inviting you to celebrate their first anniversary!
At their evening-long anniversary party, the restaurant
will be featuring some of their favorite dishes like Sakura Shrimp with
egg sauce ($10) and Sakamushi, twelve Middleneck clams steamed in sake,
dashi, garlic, and butter, a real favorite of the Izakaya family ($18).
And don't forget about the anniversary toast; all diners will receive a
complimentary glass of Hana Fuga sparking sake!
party doesn't end there. All throughout the holidays, Izakaya Mita will
be serving up their delicious renditions of classic, shareable Japanese
bar food paired perfectly with their craft cocktails, Japanese beer,
and extensive sake list-- the combination makes for the most original
holiday party in Bucktown. Parties of up to 60 people can rent out the
restaurant space Monday through Thursday evenings. To make a reservation

celebration culminates on New Year's Eve when the restaurant will again
be serving up some of their greatest hits, like Sakura Shrimp ($10) and
a special Bincho Duck dish, skewered and cooked over charcoal ($7).
