Announcing CAR Film
This month we are excited to debut CAR Film. From Jobs and Calls for Artists to articles and stories offering advice and perspective, CAR Film opens up a spot on the web for Chicago's media folk to excel at their practice.
In that spirit we're also debuting the first of our rich-media columnists. In "Made-Up with Danny Volk," the host interviews Chicago artists during an impromptu make-over. We also talk to Scott Foley about editing personal footage for strangers. Nick Ward breaks down his process for making a story, while Andy Ludington tells us what it takes to produce a post-societal comedy. Lastly, Patrick Gough shoots straight on the audition process (and your chances).
We always welcome your feedback as we continue to grow our newest discipline. Enjoy this month's focus on film, and the rest of your summer!

Did you hit upon a better varnish, an on-stage amp fix, a quirky stretch at the barre, a sure-fire way to get clients to pay you? We want to film a video short of you demonstrating your technique to share with the greater creative community.
