The 2015 Chicago
International Film Festival Television Awards is now accepting entries!
Celebrating the best in television, this annual competition for TV
productions and commercials culminates in an Awards Night Gala in April,
where last year we honored CSI show runner & Executive Producer Carol Mendelsohn, commercial production company STORY, and actor Jesse Spencer. Click here

Our 11th annual
CineYouth Festival is now accepting film entries from student filmmakers
21 years old and younger! Entries must be postmarked by March 23, 2015.
CineYouth will be held at Columbia College Chicago May 7-9, 2015. For

film chronicles the tumultuous three-month period in 1965, when Dr.
Martin Luther King, Jr. led a dangerous campaign to secure equal voting
rights in the face of violent opposition. The epic march from Selma to
Montgomery culminated in President Johnson (Tom Wilkinson) signing the
Voting Rights Act of 1965, one of the most significant victories for the
civil rights movement. Director Ava DuVernay's Selma tells the
real story of how the revered leader and visionary Dr. Martin Luther
King Jr. (David Oyelowo) and his brothers and sisters in the movement

beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, intertwining the plots of a few
choice stories and exploring the consequences of the characters' wishes
and quests. This humorous and heartfelt musical follows the classic
tales of Cinderella (Anna Kendrick), Little Red Riding Hood (Lilla
Crawford), Jack and the Beanstalk (Daniel Huttlestone), and Rapunzel
(MacKenzie Mauzy) - all tied together by an original story involving a
baker and his wife (James Corden and Emily Blunt), their wish to begin a
family and their interaction with the witch (Meryl Streep) who has put a
