Final Market of 2014 to Take Place December 14 at Venue One
Chicagoans experienced a new taste of Dose Market this season as the
Dose Bomb made for thousands of happy shoppers on September 21. Now, the
popular artisanal market is gearing up for its fourth annual
holiday-themed market on Sunday, December 14th. Supporting 100 local
businesses and 15 more from around the country,
the HoliDose will take place at Venue One (1034 W Randolph Street) 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and will be the final Dose of 2014. Visitors
are invited to discover, purchase and have all of their holiday gifts
wrapped on the spot in a space filled with music and cheer. Dates for
Dose Market in 2015 will be announced in a subsequent release.
Market founder, event producer and entrepreneur, April Francis, has
curated a group of Chicago's top designers, artists, chefs and more,
giving urban dwellers an eclectic selection of jewelry, clothing,
packaged goods, and home furnishings to choose from for gifting,
entertaining and cheer. "The HoliDose provides Chicago shoppers a
one-stop-shop for all kinds of smart holiday purchases " said Francis.
"We are thrilled to provide a platform for small, growing businesses to
sell their thoughtful, well-made products while providing Chicagoans a
fantastic way to directly support their neighbors in this busy shopping
and entertaining goods from those participating in the fourth annual
HoliDose include: wild caught-Alaskan salmon (Big Blue Bay), art (Chris
Uphues, Debbie Carlos, ARTPENTRY), wreaths (Field & Florist), wool
goods (APORTA), gifts for the hard-to-buy-for (Mr & Mrs Smith, Green
City Market, MEYVN, Treat Bake Shop), subscriptions (Mr + Muse, Madison
& Rayne), women's designer apparel (Kit This, AZEEZA US, Saffron
Vintage), Dose Bars (Mayana Chocolate), statement-making accessories
(Sterling & Burke, The IDLE.WILD, Shikama), children's toys (*play,
