John des Rosiers and Phil Rubino Launch New Lunch Program: Pranzo Moderno
PRANZO MODERNO HEATS UP LUNCH
IN THE NORTH SUBURBS
John des Rosiers and Executive
Chef Phil Rubino are bringing new lunch options to the North Shore with the
new Pranzo Moderno, a lunch destination in the entrance of Moderno. The quick
lunch shop will serve thoughtfully-prepared sandwiches, salads and soups, all
made to order with the high-quality ingredients from Moderno and all served at
Menu highlights include Italian Sub Sandwich with capicola,
soppressata, mortadella, provolone cheese and house-made vinaigrette; PLT Panini with prosciutto, arugula and
tomato pesto; and Chopped Romaine Salad
with oven-dried tomatoes, radicchio, olives and a house-made creamy Parmesan
dressing. Sandwiches and salads are priced from $8 – 9. All bread will be
freshly made for the restaurant by Sicilian Bakery, Chef Rubino’s family’s

offerings, the team is serving assorted Argo teas, San Pellegrino sodas,
Berghoff root beer and Mexican Coca-Cola. Lunch will be served Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. For
