George Lucas honored by the Gene Siskel Film Center

George Lucas was honored by the Gene Siskel Film Center and recipient of the "Gene Siskel Film Center Visionary Award From Innovation in Filmmaking" at an adventure with George Lucas at the Four Seasons Hotel. He was accompanied by Melody Hobson who is wearing a dress by Isabel Toledo and Christian Louboutin heels.
Many people that attended this event were on Facebook praising the awesomeness of George Lucas as well as Melody. She truly won everyone over with her charm wit and style.
What a great couple!

Candy Spelling talks love money and the big house at Borders Books

Candy Spelling, most recently known as the feuding mother of daughter Tori Spelling had a discussion and signing for her new book, “Stories From Candyland” at Borders Books in Lakeview.
The crowd stayed quiet as she discussed her courtship with her husband,the late Aaron Spelling and her BIG 150 room mansion and how wonderful it is.
In world recessionary times like this, it just seems like such a faux pas discussing so publicly a house bigger than many hotels and the opulent lifestyle that goes with it.
Anyway,she seems like a sweet lady,just one that looks thru the glass with a different perspective than most. I am not jealous of her financial success thru her marriage,just pointing out what I noticed. Her taped up hand is from her recent surgery from Carpel Tunnel syndrome. When asked how she got that she stated,'Too much computer!"
