Samantha Ronson spins at the Auxiliary Board 35th Anniversary Celebration of The Art Institute of Chicago

Pictured above is Samantha Ronson hard at work dj'ing keeping the party goers dancing the night away at the Auxiliary Board 35th Anniversary Celebration of The Art Institute of Chicago this weekend. Notice those 4 cans of 'Red Bull' Yikes! I didn't stay long but wondered how you could make a quick bathroom run when the DJ booth is 12 feet in the air and no stairs ? Her Mac laptop is sporting an Obama HOPE sticker! Nice touch!

Tommy Hilfiger unveils Macy's Great Tree. Let the shopping begin!

In celebration of the exclusive partnership between Tommy Hilfiger and Macy’s, Tommy Hilfiger lit the Great Tree in the Walnut Room of Macy's on State Street. This year’s Great Tree, inspired by Tommy Hilfiger’s new book, Iconic America, is a two-story holiday vision featuring a traditional red color scheme. Seven iconic ornaments from past Great Trees, including two whimsical designs along with a Santa Claus, jack-in-the-box, toy soldier and an elephant pull toy, have been recreated to celebrate the traditional theme. Traditional tree d├ęcor such as red bows and tinsel along with ball-shaped ornaments in red and silver also adorn the 45-foot glimmering tree. In addition, numerous toys from FAO Schwarz, such as bears, dolls, and fire trucks, among others, give the famed tree a traditional “Santa’s workshop” feel. The sheer number of trimmings is spectacular: nearly 15,000 lights and 4,000 ornaments in total. Chicago Mayor Richard M.Daley and Macy's Chairman and CEO Terry Lundgren are also pictured.
