TRUMP INTERNATIONAL HOTEL & TOWER CHICAGO
UNVEILS 53 LUXURIOUS SPA GUEST ROOMS AT THE SPA AT TRUMP
The ultimate urban wellness escape for visitors and Chicagoans alike
CHICAGO (August 27, 2008)-On September 1, Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago will forge a new path to luxury and wellness as the property unveils 53 signature spa guest rooms at The Spa at Trump. These specially-designed rooms, ranging from 600 to 900- square feet, will echo the five Trump Intentions for which The Spa at Trump has become known-Calm, Balance, Purify, Heal and Revitalize-allowing guests to truly customize their experience and enjoy a transformational getaway in the heart of downtown Chicago.
"We are among few properties in the world offering such uniquely appointed guest rooms devoted to the spa experience," said T. Colm O'Callaghan, vice president, managing director of Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago. "We believe they will attract the visitor seeking both relaxation and access to the best of the city from our prime location in the heart of Chicago. We anticipate locals will relish a calming escape in their own backyard. They provide a truly unique experience for the mid-week business traveler, and finally, local residents and weekend visitors have a resort-like venue in downtown Chicago."
The spa guest rooms located on the 14th Floor will be connected to The Spa at Trump (located on Floor 14M) via an impressive grand staircase, ensuring comfort for those who prefer privacy while walking from their guest room to The Spa at Trump. As guests are led to the spa guest room by their Spa Attaché, who will customize the guest experience from start to finish, they will be enveloped by a custom spa scent in the corridor and soft music playing overhead. Upon entering their room, they will find inspiring city and riverfront views, gentle earth tones, light oak woods, fresh orchids, ambient candles and a music library corresponding to the five Trump Intentions.
Ultimate, In-Room Pampering
Luxurious, in-room pampering will be a given at The Spa at Trump. For guests wanting a deluxe retreat, several treatments-including signature gemstone massages, manicures, pedicures and more-will be available in-room. Guests will also discover a variety of special touches that distinguish the spa guest room experience from any other. The Trump Essentials Gift Collection will await their arrival, including a custom blend of essential oils mirroring the individual's personal intention, unscented body butter and bath salts and a hydrating facial mask. A warming caddy will reveal herbal-scented neck and eye pillows that can be used at any time, and especially comforting at turndown.
The guest room mini-bar will uniquely address important areas of The Spa at Trump experience: healthy eating and healthy living. Nourishing food and beverage mini-bar options will abound, ranging from Scharffenberger dark chocolate, parmesan-baked pita chips, dried fruit and antioxidant gummy pandas to ITOEN lemongrass green tea, BORBA Skin Balance water, chocolate almond milk and an organic selection of wine, Champagne, tea and wine.
Additionally, the guest rooms will showcase popular spa products that will evolve with the seasons: for example, hydrating lotions and masks during the cold winter months and UVA/UVB sunscreen during Chicago's sun-drenched summers. Should guests require a last-minute hostess gift while calling on friends in the city, items such as MOR Italian Blood Orange Soap and Vie Luxe Candles will also be available for purchase. An extensive, in-room spa retail menu will consist of larger items, including leading aesthetician Kate Somerville's product line, Shiffa Gemstone Oil, The Spa at Trump Body Butter and The Spa at Trump Sugar Scrub.
Ultimate relaxation will ensue as guests elect to take advantage of the luxurious Signature Bath Menu, whose base ingredients will carry out the five personal intentions: Lavender for Calm; Sandalwood for Balance; Citrus for Purify; Rosemary for Heal and Lemongrass for Revitalize. Guests can enhance their bath experience with additional indulgences such as Champagne, strawberries and caviar. All signature baths are drawn with fresh gardenia and are expertly presented with a body loofah, aloe hydrating mask, loose leaf pressed tea and moisturizing body cream.
As sunset falls, The Spa at Trump will invite guests to immerse themselves in a stress-reducing ritual certain to romance deep, restorative sleep.
Fitness and Nutrition
Spa guest rooms at The Spa at Trump will come equipped with a yoga kit (including mat, block, strap and Yoga DVD) and a Technogym® Wellness Rack. In conjunction with the launch of the spa guest rooms, The Spa at Trump will introduce several packages tailored to guests' wishes.
