Legendary radio personality Clark Weber signed copies of, 'Clark Weber's Rock and Roll Radio: The Fun Years, 1955-1975' at Barnes and Nobel downtown.

If you grew up in the 1960s the voices blaring from AM radios,most notably WLS and WCFL were almost as important as the artists from the records they played. Fascinating and fun time in radio and this book is a really nice capture of the time period, the radio biz and the
early rock bands!

Big voices perform at neighborhood festival!

Singer and actress Jennifer Holliday performed an outdoor concert at the Northalsted Market Days neighborhood festival. Her opening act was Chicago's own Linda Clifford.

Both women sounded amazing as their big voices blasted thru the thick crowds of this
unique neighborhood festival. The ladies had the crowds dancing in the street closing the successful weekend fest.
